Client Advanced Retail | Organisation The University of Sydney | Designer and Developer Emma Mirabelle

The Shopping Suite is a subsidiary company of Advanced Retail, an international high-end retail management firm located in Paris. During a 6 week University placement I recommended that The Shopping Suite replace their slow, outdated, buggy website, with a new website that I would design and develop.

The purpose of the website was to sell clothes and accesories online to middle aged females with a reasonably high disponsible income who travel frequently. Given that the client required a low budget solution, I recommended that they use Wordpress as the CMS because it is free. I integrated an e-commerce solution so that they could sell and manage their products online. I also designed and coded the front-end of the website.

Translated in both English and French, the website I developed has a secure payment system, a home page carousel, hover and zoom functions for clothing items, as well as many other features.
